Elemental Flow Series

Explore the elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space through five immersive yoga practices that weave together movement, meditation, breathwork, mudra and philosophy.

The Elemental Flow Series is a collection of five full-length yoga classes inspired by the Pañca Mahābhūta - The Five Great Elements of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. Each practice is carefully designed around the unique qualities, wisdom and teachings of the different elements. Through creative sequencing, meditation, pranayama, mudra and mindful movement, you'll explore how the elements express themselves within your body, mind and everyday life. Root into the steadiness of Earth. Flow with the adaptability of Water. Ignite the transformative power of Fire. Expand into the freedom and creativity of Air. Rest in the spacious awareness of Space. More than simply a movement practice, this series invites you to embody the gifts of each element. These thoughtfully designed classes are intended to awaken, inspire and support personal growth both on and off the mat. PLUS - This series is also great material for teachers and keen yoga students who want to learn more about the philosophy and dive deeper into the elements theory. Each class comes with a class plan you can practice alongside if you'd rather move through the sequence without the video, and the series comes with a companion guide offering a deeper overview of the Pañca Mahābhūta, so you can learn more about each element and its wisdom.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I practice these in any order?
Yes, each class works well on it's own, so if you feel drawn to practice Fire first and Water last, that's completely fine.
What if I don't have props (blocks, strap, bolster)?
Don't worry, I've suggested some alternatives that could work instead, or you can simply do the pose or movement without the prop. If you practice yoga regularly, I'd recommend picking up a couple of cork blocks and a strap at some point, they can really support you in your practice. Just ask if you'd like my recommendations for what to get.
What level is this suitable for? Do I need experience?
This series was designed for the yoga student who has been practising a while and is wanting longer, more in-depth, multilayered classes — but there are still plenty of poses a beginner could do and benefit from. If you have a certain level of strength, coordination, and mobility already, you'll get a lot out of it. The main thing to know: I don't break poses down the way I would for a complete beginner, and I do include some challenging poses for the student who wants to advance their practice. So if you're a beginner, please be mindful to observe your limits, take rest as needed, and skip any poses that don't feel comfortable or safe for you.
