Day 1 – We ease in with a generous, feel-good warm-up to lay the foundation for what’s ahead. From there, we move through a creative flow designed to build strength, improve balance, and activate the key muscle groups needed for Crow Pose. You’ll have multiple opportunities to explore the pose throughout the class, with today’s focus on fine-tuning your alignment - creating a shape that feels compact, light, and stable. The intention of this class is inspired by the teaching: Sthira Sukham Asanam - “The posture should be steady and comfortable.” This is about finding the balance between effort and ease - cultivating a sense of containment and stability, while staying calm, expansive, and connected through your energy and breath. We’re working toward strength, control, and precision - without becoming rigid. And that applies not just to the body, but to the mind too. Props: 1 yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks (or 2 firm cushions, or 2 Pilates balls)
